Generator for Shevchenko children's orphanage house

Emerland Charitable Foundation | Generator for Shevchenko children's orphanage house

This time, at the beginning of March, the team of Emerland Development Charitable Foundation has realized one more very important for every of us project: due to the constant and great support of the Association of Ukrainian students of the University of Bonn "UniBonn.UA”, the invaluable contribution of “ASCONSIT GmbH and LLC”, stupendous help of the online store “Budmir” as well as of all private benefactors,  the diesel portable generator COVAX 12STA with a nominal power of 11 kW was successfully delivered to the Shevchenko children's orphanage house.

The Shevchenko children's orphanage house is located in the village of Shevchenkove of Kupyansk district in the Kharkiv region, just a couple of kilometers of the nowadays hottest front line between Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. There are a total of 98 boys and young men in the institution. All of them have the status of children with disabilities and persons with disabilities who, due to their state of health, need constant and around-the-clock external care, sanitary, hygienic, and household services, as well as medical assistance.

The fact of electricity's absence in this institution means that treatment and provision of life household needs of its pupils are impossible. If this problem was not solved with the help of the generator, which the team of Emerland Development Charitable Foundation with the support of all our dear friends had managed to finally take there, the work of the institution would be stopped for the first time in all its years of existence.

Now the device ensures the operation of the food unit (cooking food) of the Shevchenko children's orphanage house which spent over 8 months under occupation.

Our team will continue projects to support Ukrainian children with disabilities, who, being the most dispossessed of our compatriots, need the promptest and most specific help.

We are expressing our biggest gratitude to Tetyana Nazaruk and Svitlana Bozhko (Association of Ukrainian students of the University of Bonn "UniBonn.UA"), Arndt Spitzer ("ASCONSIT GmbH and LLC"), Roman  Romanchuk (the online store “Budmir”), Arndt Kunnecke and others. Together to the Victory!
